DICTIONARY OF ARTS & SCIENCES
, entitled “
FIRST RATE SHIP OF WAR WITH RIGGING
“. On the back is a photocopied first page of the dictionary, and handwritten,
“DICTIONARY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES 1764
“. The page displays a patent illustration for a masted ship interior and exterior from one side, with notations. It measures 14-3/4″ tall by 13″ wide, with the 1/2” wood frame included. The piece is in very good, as-found, condition. A desirable and decorative antique Maritime collectible!
